In Csilla Szentpéteri’s bold arrangements, the great figures of music history reveal new, distinctive faces. Vivaldi’s works burst beyond Baroque boundaries with rock energy, Paganini evokes a sultry night with Cuban rhythms, while Brahms’s Hungarian Dances are infused with a Mexican spirit. Mozart’s elegance sways with the gentle pulse of bossa nova, and Liszt’s grand compositions gain a modern, 21st-century essence. The repertoire is enriched by original compositions alongside the virtuoso arrangements.
During the evening, the piano is joined by an outstanding five-member ensemble. Passionate guitar and saxophone solos, dazzling instrumental duels and driving rhythms create a vibrant atmosphere. The musical experience is completed by engaging, light-hearted stories between the pieces and spectacular lighting effects, perfectly in harmony with the unique ambience of the Öntőház Courtyard.
