Here to explain the complex structure of this device comprising 6804 pipes, 92 registers and five manuals will be László Fassang. Our resident organist, also a professor at the Conservatoire de Paris, will bring to life the history and unique structure of this instrument through a programme featuring some spectacular visuals, popular organ works and virtuoso improvisations. Seated on the stage near the console, participants will be able to take part in the magic of a true musical playground. This interactive Hungarian-language programme should leave no one in any doubt as to why the organ is called the ‘queen of the instruments’.
