Az olasz fuvolaművész, Massimo Mercelli különleges zenei világa olyan, igencsak eltérő stílusú zeneszerzőket inspirált már, mint Philip Glass és Krzysztof Penderecki, de szívesen emlékezett vissza a vele való közös munkára a nagy példakép, Jean-Pierre Rampal is. A Liszt Ferenc Kamarazenekarral adott koncertjén igazi csemegéket hallhatunk, például az olasz filmek két zeneszerzőzsenijétől, Ennio Morriconétól és Nino Rotától egy-egy kompozíciót.
