Malek²– Father and Daughter Together On Stage

Malek²– Father and Daughter Together On Stage

Andrea Malek performs rarely in front of a Hungarian audience. That’s why she welcomed the idea of the Orfeum to team up with her songwriter father, Miklos Malek.

Where are those times when Andrea Malek, instead of sleeping, listened to her father writing music in the room next door, and could only fall asleep when the harmonies were set up, or those times when celebrated singers and actors of the era (Pal Szecsi, Peter Huszti, Eva Ruttkai, Kati Kovacs, Janos Koos, Ilona Bence, Peter Mate, Gabor Ihasz, or Geza Hofi) rehearsed all evening by the piano? The line is long…

Growing up in a home music school and with a complete band, Andrea suck up experience without even knowing what she would become. Since then, they often performed together on stage. Due to the sweet memories of their family concert in 2011, they decided to start a concert series exclusively at the Orfeum.
Besides playing their favorite pieces of music and sharing personal stories, Andrea is picking some of her original songs, as well.

The concert features two major artists, father and daughter driving down memory lane during an intimate musical night to remember.

Concert at 09:00 p.m.

Dining is ongoing until 11:00 p.m.
