Bartók Plus Opera Festival has advertised its Opera Composition Competition for the year 2014 as well. Works selected for the Finals will be performed in full in "Readers Theatre" performaces, while on the closing day of the festival extracts will be staged with an orchestra from these new operas.
In the first part of the Gala Concert Erika Miklósa appears as the host, while in the second part she will fascinate the audience with her magnificient voice. The world famous soprano takes pleasure in ventures beyond the opera genre exploring the worlds of operettas and musicals as well.
