As the home of the Electro Swing Club Budapest, Orfeum is the newest and only Hungarian member of the successful elite club network available only in a few cities all around the world (Hollywood, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Toronto, Zürich, Brussels, Prague, etc.).
Being part of the international Electro Swing Club franchise is a great reward for Orfeum as a pioneer club in Budapest.

The Electro Swing Club parties evoke the decadent, sultry world of the 20s, 30s with the coolest electro swing DJs who mix trendy and vibrant music and all above there are burlesque dancers & live shows every time to get the full picture.

The golden frame of the evening will be the DJ sets of the ESC Budapest residents, Ordiman and Savages.

Iván Fischer was requested by the Berlin Konzerthaus to compose an opera for children based on Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s world-famous picture book, The Gruffalo. The humorous opera now premieres in Hungary in translation by Ádám Nádasdy. The production is recommended for children between the ages of 3 and 10.
