Miklós Hubay-György Ránki-István Vas
Three Nights of One Love
Director: Attila Vidnyánszky, Jr.
Two young lovers ignore the war and want to live only for each other, but that age is indifferent to man, poetry and beauty, and destroys them. Miklós Hubay, István Vas and György Ránki were able to speak with elegant lightness, compassion and humor about a "barbaric" age, with all its ills, and this is the greatest step towards healing.
"I have particularly fond memories of performances given by young people, for example at college exams. Because the criterion for this play is not that the characters know the period, but that they are young. This is the last word in the text: youth. If youth is given, the performance is good." (Miklós Hubay)
The performance is presented with the permission of the UMPA Agency.
The performance is recommended for spectators over 14 years of age!
(If the performance starts at 7 p.m., the expected end time is 10 p.m.)
Opening date: 17 December 2022 Pesti Theatre
For almost a quarter of a century, the Festival Orchestra’s program series for children has brought a high-quality classical musical experience to the youngest. The orchestra’s rehearsal room not only serves experimenting with the tiniest details of the symphonic pieces to be performed or playing chamber music, but also as the venue for educating the next generation of classical music lovers.
