László Dés in concert - guest: Anikó Für and Pál Mácsai

Dés. For decades a byword for excellence on the Hungarian music scene. A whole slew of musicals, film scores, pop songs and jazz records are credited to his name. What Hungarian isn't familiar with the big Dés hits: Nagy utazás (A Great Journey), Vigyázz rám (Watch Over Me), Olyan szépek voltunk (How Lovely We Were), A zene az kell (There Must Be Music), Legyen úgy! (So Be It!), Mi vagyunk a grund! (We Are The Playground!) - and the list could go on. In addition to the legendary songs, this concert also features some new compositions to be performed both by Dés himself and his actor guests, both as solo numbers and as duets.

His guests on the occasion will be Anikó Für and Pál Mácsai. While Für, an outstanding actress, has already had the opportunity to prove her vocal skills to the audience, she has never worked with Dés before. Mácsai, on the other hand, has appeared in several joint productions with the musician. However these have mostly been literary/musical programmes: their concert performances together have been few and far between. So we can safely say that this evening showcasing these three superb artists promises to be a special meeting. Dés will once again be accompanied by a carefully selected band made up of some of the finest concert musicians available. Like on previous occasions, the audience can look forward to a musical experience that is not in the least bit ordinary!
