Felix ifjú író, aki a nagy áttörésre vár. Szakadatlanul dolgozik a nagy regényen, amely majd híressé teszi, ám a kiadók sorra visszautasítják őt. Doris, a magát modellnek valló fiatal nő a jég hátán is megél - illetve élne, ha hagynák. Ám az éjszaka közepén kiteszik a lakásából, ő pedig bekopog, hogy menedéket keressen Felixnél. Náluk ellentétesebb két embert nem hordott még a hátán a föld. Csupán egy percre van szükség, hogy egymás agyára menjenek. Ám mégis össze vannak kényszerülve egy pici garzonlakásba. Hát mindent megtesznek, hogy valahogy túléljék a helyzetet.
