Balogh Ádám Pécsett született és már fiatalon számos országos zongoraversenyen nyert első díjat. Köztük a Budapest Fesztiválzenekar zeneiskolásoknak rendezett versenyén is, aminek eredményeképpen 2010-ben debütálhatott a zenekarral, Fischer Iván vezényletével.

12 évesen felvételt nyert a Zeneakadémia Kivételes Tehetségek Osztályába, ahol Némethy Attila és Eckhardt Gábor voltak tanárai. Budapest után Hannoverben folytatta tanulmányait Arie Vardi osztályában.
Jelenlegi tanárai Várjon Dénes és Farkas Gábor.
Számos nemzetközi versenyről is sikeresen térhetett haza. Az utóbbi években Bartók világversenyen nyert második díjat, a Sydney zongoraversenyen ötödik helyezett lett, illetve a Honens nemzetközi zongoraversenyen Kanadában a legjobb 12 közé került.
A Curtis Intézetben megrendezett Philadelphia Young Pianists’ Academy-re többször nyert ösztöndíjas meghívást, fesztiválok gyakori résztvevője. Ennek köszönhetően olyan tanároktól vehetett órákat, mint Dimitry Bashkirov, Kocsis Zoltán, Roger Muraro, Yohaved Kaplinsky, Stanislav Loudenitch, Emanuel Krasovsky, Menahem Pressler, Boris Berman, Jerome Lowenthal, Dina Yoffe, Alon Goldstein, Alexander Kobrin és Malcolm Bilson.
2017-ben Junior Prima díjjal jutalmazták, illetve elnyerte Pécs város első Ifjúsági Tüke díját. 2020 nyarán bekerült a Lieven Alapítvány ösztöndíjasai közé. 2019-ben, 2020-ban és 2022-ben Fischer Annie ösztöndíjat nyert. A Cziffra fesztivál tehetségdíjasa.

Iván Fischer was requested by the Berlin Konzerthaus to compose an opera for children based on Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s world-famous picture book, The Gruffalo. The humorous opera now premieres in Hungary in translation by Ádám Nádasdy. The production is recommended for children between the ages of 3 and 10.
For almost a quarter of a century, the Festival Orchestra’s program series for children has brought a high-quality classical musical experience to the youngest. The orchestra’s rehearsal room not only serves experimenting with the tiniest details of the symphonic pieces to be performed or playing chamber music, but also as the venue for educating the next generation of classical music lovers.
