Az eredetileg három felvonásos bohózatot 1896-ban mutatták be a párizsi Théâtre du Palais Royal-ban. A Fogi- Bulvárszínház 2016 nyarán mutatja be a fergeteges vígjátékot ismert és népszerű budapesti színművészek szereplésével.
