COLOURFUL. GLOBAL. ENERGISING.
During its 70 years of existence, the Hungarian Radio Children’s Choir has toured the world and enjoyed great success at its concerts. The Choir has acted as cultural ambassadors of Hungarian culture and ambassadors of the Kodály Concept. Their singing has been admired everywhere in the world. The Choir wishes to provide a glimpse into the atmosphere of these journeys through evoking the musical culture and traditions of each country visited. Thanks to the international contacts established over the years, the Choir has been acquainted with many countries’ music and songs, and this concert offers a varied introduction to these musical pieces. At these concerts, conductor of the Hungarian Radio Children’s Choir Soma Dinyés will talk about the featured songs and the Choir’s most cherished experiences.
